Torquay Motor Show is an annual fundraising event that aims to provide an entertaining and fun day for all vehicle owners and all spectators alike.

Torquay Motor Show is open to anyone who is interested in looking at a wide range of vehicles on display.  Tickets can be pre purchased online.

A Dashcard is a small printed card showing a vehicles event registration number, the driver and vehicle details including Class that it is entered into.  Most important is the QR code used by the Judges to enable them to vote for the vehicle.

Three simple requirements to drive your vehicle in through the priority lane:

1. Pre register online
2. Dash Card clearly visible
3. All passengers pre registered

Your vehicle must be registered for judging and your event registration number is clearly visible for the public to see.  It will be on the Dashcard but you may wish to make it more visible for the spectators.  Any other promotion of your vehicle is welcome.

No.  There is a Geo Fence around the venue for the Motor Show, so only spectators inside the venue will be able to vote for the people's choice.  This prevents stacking of votes across a broader geographic area.  Only votes on mobile app by spectators will be used for voting of this special award.

Yes, we will endeavour to enable Clubs and Groups to park together if they meet the Priority Lane conditions and coordinate their arrival at the venue.

The Judges will judge all 19 Classes and use the following criteria:

• Paint
• Body
• Wheels
• Interior
• Engine (have motor visible)
• Attention to detail
• Overall

First of all the Judges will check that the class you have selected is appropriate for your vehicle.  All vehicles will be judged by up to 3 judges and the total scores will be averaged, to factor in different judges view points.  Scoring will be conducted on a mobile app and live scores sent to the chief judge.  No stickers will be used on windscreens this year.  The judges are not involved in the People's Choice - that is voted by spectators only.
